Andrew Robertson is a contemporary visual artist specializing in monochromatic oil paintings and large-scale murals. Based in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, his work captures the rugged landscapes and stories of rural life, a practice he turned into a full-time career in 2022.
His murals and exhibitions span Canada and the U.S., with artwork showcased in Times Square, New York, and commissioned for public institutions, festivals, and cultural landmarks. He has been featured by CTV Regina and appeared on the cover of Arts Saskatchewan Magazine.
Recent projects include directing the South West Mural Fest, which has transformed overlooked spaces in Saskatchewan and introduced the first legal graffiti on a railcar in Canada, as well as commissions for the Medicine Hat Fire Department’s 125th anniversary, the SWSK Tourism Hub highway installation, and Food Bank Canada’s first Community Food Hub in Regina.
He works from his studio above a coffee shop in Shaunavon, where he continues to create, teach, and inspire through his art.
